Spring Thaws Magically in Maine

One of my favorite places to go hiking in the springtime is Rangeley, Maine. The warm springs sun begins sending freshly melted snow down the many streams and waterways into the lakes and ponds creating a renewed excitement as life begins to reemerge. Everything is sparkling! Yah! We made it through the dark days of winter!

That is what this painting is about. :-)
